Lipsa Routray is a Research Scholar of Center for Linguistic Science and Technology at the IIT Guwahati. She holds a M.Tech. (2017) in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing from the IIIT - Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and a B.Tech in Electronics and Tele communication from the BPUT (2011). Before her current research, she served the IIT Bhubaneswar as a Project Assistant.
Her primary research interests include human-computer interaction, cognitive ergonomics, and inclusive design, particularly in user-centric design and usability improvements for electric bus instrument clusters. Her work focuses on optimizing the driver experience, enhancing safety, and streamlining critical information displays in next-generation electric vehicles. She collaborates closely with industry partners and stakeholders, conducting in-depth field studies, workshops, and co-design sessions that integrate user feedback into evolving dashboard architectures.
